Interior Design Concepts & Renderings

As we move forward with our ambitious plans, we are excited to reveal new interior renderings and display design concepts that will enhance the visitor experience and celebrate aviation history like never before.

Permanent Exhibition in Building "Alpha"

The Permanent Exhibition in the main display hangar of Building "Alpha" will explore the advancement in technology that led to the nation’s success in World War II, showcasing the aircraft, pilots, mechanics, engineers and service members that shaped the world we live in today.

Auditorium for Public Programs & Private Events

The Auditorium will present exciting and engaging public programming including lectures, performances, and special events to lead meaningful dialogues, connect people and communities, and celebrate STEM and aviation history. Our monthly Living History Flying Day educational events will take place in this hangar.

Restoration & Maintenance Center

The Restoration and Maintenance Center is a dedicated facility where historical aircraft undergo meticulous restoration and conservation. It provides museum patrons with a unique opportunity to view live aircraft conservation in action, offering an educational and immersive experience into the intricate process of aircraft preservation.

Gift Shop for Unique Memorabilia

The Gift Shop will be a marketplace of museum related goods serving patrons with a special selection of unique gifts, books, souvenirs, and memorabilia that complement the museum’s programming and enhance the visitor experience.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to bring this exciting project to life!
